Worship Time Change for Traditional Service: If you attend the 2nd service, the time will be changed during the months of July and August.  The service will begin at 10:15 not 10:45! Also, there will be one coffee hour between the services. Members are still welcome to gather in Fellowship Hall to visit after the 10:15 service.

 

 

Bloodmobile Coming to PUMC on Monday, August 2,  2 - 8 PM:  In conjunction with our Bridge Builders Youth Camp, we are hosting an informal blood drive. The New York Blood Center Bloodmobile will be onsite in the parking lot to receive donors on Monday, Aug. 2, 2 - 8 PM. You can sign up, or just stop by and donate whole blood – sorry, no platelet machines on the bus. For information contact Justin Thompson-Gee or visit the table in Fellowship Hall. Thanks for helping to save lives!

Bridge Builders Mission Camp: August 2-6 at PUMC.  For more details please chlick on the Youth Group link in our directory.

Volunteers Needed: PUMC provides monthly meals for Hillcrest, the Homeless Shelter and we need help with the Homeless Shelter preparation.  Upcoming dates for

sandwich making and/or serving at Hillcrest:

     August 28

     September 25

     October 23

Sponsor A Child to Summer Camp! - Tubman’s Summer All-Stars, an 8 week Summer Reading and Math Enrichment Program for our inner city children begins on July 6 through August 27. For children going in to grades 1 - 6. Cost is just $50 /per week or $400 for 8 weeks. Many exciting things are planned; to help our inner city families offset the cost we ask for your help.  Your tax-deductible donation would be greatly appreciated and would go a long way in providing this child with a valuable summer learning opportunity.  For more information call Chris Arnfield.

 

Possible Summer Missions – Mid-Hudson Love In the Name of Christ! -  There are several ways you and your family can help this summer.  Please see the brochure (click on brochure) for further details.  Together we can make a huge difference to those less fortunate in the Mid-Hudson region.

Food Collection – During the month of July, the Youth Group are continuing to collect non‑perishable food.  Please bring in non‑perishable food and Sarah Hicks will see that it gets delivered. 

 

Red Bird Mission - United Methodist Women continue to collect Campbell Soup Labels and General Mills boxtops and Campbell Soup Labels (only) to help support the Red Bird Mission in Beverly, Kentucky. The program serves residents in a five county area by providing medical/dental care, home health care, ambulance services and early childhood development programs. A box is in Fellowship Hall for you to drop off the labels and boxtops. Please No Betty Crocker coupons.
